HATE ENDS NOW

The Hate Ends Now tour, in partnership with Southern NCSY, is a cross-state tour organized in partnership between ShadowLight and Southern NCSY of The Cattle Car: Stepping In and Out of Darkness. The Cattle Car, An immersive, 360 degree exhibit within a replica WWII cattle car, will be travelling to schools and communities across Florida from December to February in an effort to curb the continuously dropping levels of Holocaust education and awareness across the United States. It is our goal to reach, educate, and inspire as many people as possible in order to promote a more tolerant, understanding population.

 Why ShadowLight?

As the Holocaust fades from recent memory and the first-hand witnesses to the atrocities diminish in number, it is crucial to effectively pass on the universal messages of this history in an engaging manner.

Hatred and discrimination are on the rise throughout the world. In the face of the Pittsburgh massacre, the Charlottesville rally and the countless terror attacks, Holocaust education highlighting the consequences of intolerance is needed more than ever.

I feel a lot of the work I do is impactful because, while the adults see in me a peer who is ready to carry the torch of betterment through holocaust education, the students also see in me a peer with whom they can relate.  I can speak on their level, and it reaches them.”
